Cuchulainn was an epic Celtic warrior with supernatural powers.  His mother was the daughter of a druid.  His father was the god Lugh, hero of the Dannans.  His spear was called "Gae Bolg."  it was a vicious weapon that sprouted thirty darts when it entered the body. His battle cry drove people insane.  Cuchulainn slew the druid Calatin, but six of Calatin's children were sorcerers who combined their powers together and were able to kill him.
